This is the second visit to our Club by the students from the Hampton Park Secondary College. The year 12 students are using our club as a project. Their first visit involved playing bowls while their second consisted of filming, taking photos and interveiwing club members. The students were organized, prepared for the task and well behaved. Good Luck with the Project.

Opening of our Greens & Presentation Day. 2017-18

It turned out to be good day, weather wise, to open our greens and present the club champions with their awards. The presentations were made in the clubrooms, which was followed by a B.B.Q. for everyone. With all the members outside, our new Club flags were raised. This was followed by life member Keith Damon rolling the Jack and fellow life member Geoff Ladner putting down the first bowl. Bowls President Steve Barnes then declared the greens opened for the 2017-2018 season.

Oh What a Feeling!!!!!

Hampton Park Singles Champions Christine Hendrie and Steve Barnes are the Casey Bowls Division Champion of Champions after the finals at Pakenham on Sunday 15th. January, 2017.

After the expected close starts, both Christine Hendrie and Steve Barnes played consistent bowls to their game plans, drawing to good leads mid game. Christine beat local lady, Jorce Andrus 25-14 and Steve beat Cranbourne RSL's Daniel Bymes 25-16.

Congratulations to both as they now progress to the Casey Region Champion of Champion series.

Peninusula Casey Bowls Region. 2016.

After a tough day Tuesday, Christine Hendrie and Ellen Smith travelled to the Mt Eliza Bowls Club to represent the Casey Bowls Division in the Over 60's pairs. They started play at 9 am against the Peninusula Bowls Division and after a tight game went down by 5 shots. Christine and Ellen had to wait for Flinders and Peninusula to finish which was won by Flinders by just 3 shots. It was 4.15 pm when Casey played Flinders. This game was to decide who would go on and represent the Region. If Christine and Ellen were to get through they would have to win by 8 shots or more. The Hampton Park pair were 10 shots up with one end to play. Although one shot down and Ellen having the last bowl, she played it safe, bowling half way up the green. Our girls won by 9 shots. It took a marathon 10 hours of bowling, waiting and bowling to become the Womens Over 60's Region Pairs winners. They will now progress to the State titles later this season. WELL DONE CHRISTINE AND ELLEN.

10 Kw Solar System Up and Running.

It takes up all of the roof above the clubrooms and the power that it is generating has cut a very large chunk off our power bill. It is estimated that the system will pay for itself in around 7 years or less.

Pakenham’s (Scottish International Player) Neil Devlin is the Pen/ Casey Division Champion of Champions singles title holder after an entertaining game at Cranbourne. Consistent draw bowling gave him an early lead, but at 9-24 down Ian Bartlett rallied. With the score at 20-24 the task proved too great for Ian and Neil finally drew the shot he needed to win 25-20. Great game, well done Ian.

2014/15 Opening the Greens. August 30th.

The weather could not have been more perfect for the opening of our greens for the 2014/ 15 Pennant season. Club Patron, Judith Graley, and local MP for Narre Warren South, was in attendance and participated by rolling the Jack for the first time this season. Ladies President, Helen Lambert followed by putting down the first bowl which was a toucher. This being our 21st year as a bowls club, we had our two Life Members, Keith Damon rolled the Jack and Geoff Ladner put down his bowl. On the 3rd rink the Jack was rolled by the Chairman, Neville Hendrie and Men’s President Sean McDonald put down his bowl.

After the Opening of the Green a game of 12 ends was played. Fourteen teams of fours enjoyed the sun and the game. Judith Graley played on rink 9 in her Club Shirt and as a new bowler did quite well for a first attempt. Afternoon tea was served after the game which was followed by the presentation to the Club Champions and Runner Ups for the previous season. Club members turned out in force with a more than 95% turnout.
